WASP for Quality Assurance
Have you ever run into this situation: some pages are not tagged at all, there is a JavaScript error preventing the tags from running?
WASP can help in the following way:
- Crawl from here:
- Navigate to any page of your site, right-click on the WASP icon in the status bar and do "Crawl from here". Use the resulting report to check for any untagged pages, you can also check the exact tag data being sent.
- Open file:
- If you already have a list of URLs to check, right click the WASP icon and use the "Open file..." feature.
- Transactions:
- To test transactions, simply open the WASP sidebar and go through the process. You can validate the exact parameters being sent as you go through. This is especially handy for checkouts!
Note: WASP obviously works on public web sites, but also in development environments, intranets, secured extranets!
