The development of the WASP
Firefox extension initiated from my personal
interest for web analytics and my experience with several web projects and web
analytics implementations. Seeing
how often people were struggling with proper tagging and quality assurance of
their web analytics implementation, I decided to build a tool that would alleviate
those problems by easing two significant aspects:
1) lack of
skilled personnel
2) tagging errors.
As is often the case with startups and Research & Development projects, an unexpected opportunity arised: using WASP to do market research analysis.
